This Double Wood Maple Whisky has been brewed, distilled and aged on site for 3 years in oak casks. This single malt is matured in maple casks for over 2 months, and is the 1st in a series of double woods. It was created as a tribute to the liberation of Cormeilles by Canadian troops on August 24, 1944.
Color : amber with golden highlights.
Nose : butterscotch with sweet finish (coconut, dried banana).
Palate : buttery, toasted cereal, final mineral notes of licorice and tropical fruit.
Aperitif : At room temperature
